Position Summary
Windyke Country Club is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Golf Course Superintendent to lead daily maintenance and operations of our Par 3 golf course and surrounding landscape areas. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for a turf professional ready to take ownership of a property and grow within a supportive club environment.
Key Responsibilities
Manage all aspects of maintenance for the Par 3 course, including greens, tees, fairways, and rough
Oversee landscape maintenance across designated club areas
Plan and execute agronomic programs (fertility, irrigation, pest and disease management)
Operate turf equipment
Train, schedule, and supervise crew members
Monitor course conditions and make adjustments to maintain high playing quality
Assist with record-keeping, and inventory management
Ensure safe and efficient daily operations
Qualifications
Experience in golf course or turfgrass maintenance preferred
Working knowledge of turf management practices, including spraying and irrigation
Strong work ethic with the ability to lead by example
Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and in varying weather conditions
Valid driver’s license (pesticide license is a plus or willingness to obtain)

Additional Salary Information: The successful candidate will be paid a monthly salary and a bi-annual bonus. The successful candidate will also be afforded: group health insurance, vacation, local GCSAA membership, educational opportunities, and golf privileges.
About Windyke Country Club
Windyke Country Club has three golf courses situated on a 385-acre property located on the edge of Germantown and Collierville Tennessee. The West and East courses are championship in quality and length hosting all levels of competitive tournaments and events. The third 18-hole course is an all par 3 short course designed for the beginner golfer or the player who wants to sharpen their skills. All three courses are predominantly 419 Bermuda grass on tees and fairways with Zoysia incorporated in shade and border areas. The championship courses are regionally known for their exceptional putting surfaces. Both courses have USGA specified constructed greens complexes and Champion Dwarf Bermuda grass putting surfaces.
